Artist: The Bad Robots

The Bad RobotsGenre: Ska Rock

The hottest ska rock explosion since sliced bread, french toast and cups of tea.

The story of The Bad Robots is as short and complicated as you could ever hope for. Simply three men; Ben Larsen, a guitarist with a peculiar penchant for singing; Midy, a bass player making his way in the world; and, Nick Edney, a drummer of unusual good taste, all sweltering away in mediocre employment, looking out their windows and waiting for one another to walk into their lives.
Ben and Midy first met when the band that Midy was putting together, Bullet Tooth, were looking for a guitar player to fill out their sound, and after dancing the appropriate dance he was taken on board.

The simple fact remained that without drums The Bad Robots were always going to be confined to the doldrums of any musical scene. So word was spread, ads were placed, calls were made, auditions held, hopes raised and then smashed onto any passing rocks and just as they were about to begin hating the way of the world, Nick called and asked if he could come and play with them. All things being as they were, Ben and Midy warmly welcomed him into the fold.

Now complete, The Bad Robots had started on the road to reaching their goal of acquiring vast legions of shiny robots filled with adoration and love for them.

With music that combines rock, ska, and punk they have created a signature sound that inspires all those who have never played in a band before to start one, and all those that do play in bands to give up, burn their instruments and pretend they never really wanted to be rock stars anyway, and could you please go away and leave them alone to listen to The Bad Robots in peace, as the band themselves prepare to take over the world!
